Whisk[e]y Club

Our monthly Whisky Club started in November 2004. It was granted by some of us who are involved in the whisky industry and some whisky-fanatic friends of ours.

The first couple of occasions were so well received by the participants that we decided to grant and register officially the Whisky Society of Hungary in April 2005.

Currently, we have 27 members and another 25 regular but non-member participants on our monthly gatherings.

We have passed the 50th club event, as well as we tasted around 150 various Scotch, Irish, US, Canadian, Japanese, and some other whiskies.

We were also happy to host special tastings of world-famous whiskies and whisky-companies, i.e. Ballantine’s, Jack Daniel’s, Glenfiddich, Chivas Regal, Johnnie Walker, Jameson and Glenfarclas.
